Seeing Red Conference October 6-9, 2016

I am delighted to present a session titled 'Meadowsounds: Re-engaging the Feminine in the Dance of Life' at the Seeing Red conference in Stonington, CT. Jungian analysts, artists, authors, therapists, educators and professionals from around the world are coming together to focus on an inter-disciplinary exploration of feminine oppression, illuminating the archetypal roots and exploring creative ways of seeing and being seen as women in contemporary cultures. In the face of global violence inflicted daily against women and girls and in spite of the tremendous feminist scholarship, activism and humanitarian work being done around the world, the psychological reality of internalized oppression for women remains relatively obscured.  This one of a kind conference is designed to offer a blending of the analytic and the artistic in addition to creating unique spaces for dialogue and discussion.

Seeing Red is presented by the Assisi Institute's Loralee Scott-Conforti, MFA and Director of Seeing Red, with Executive Committee members Silvia Behrend. D.Min, M. Div. and Muriel McMahon, M.Ed.,Diplomate ISAPz. The Assisi International Institute for the Study of Archetypal Patterns was founded by Dr. Michael Conforti.
